When You are Feeling Anxious: Focus on This Step With Love

There are a lot of troubling things in the world right now, and it is easy to get overwhelmed with anxiety and stress when we focus on these things. I struggle with this, and perhaps you do, too. When we find ourselves getting especially overwhelmed, I think it is helpful to realize that all we need to focus on is this moment right now and acting and thinking with love in the moment. When we do this, the right and good thing to do will become clear to us. And then we can focus on the next moment. And then the next. This is how we respond in a helpful way to the difficult things in the world. When we focus too much on all of the bad things and the things that could go wrong in the future, we lose the power of focusing on right now and knowing what to do in this moment. This is not helpful for anyone. So, keep focusing on the moment and acting with love. You will figure out what to do. I drew a picture below to remind both me and you of this. Focus on this Step
